Chasing light across mountains and the night sky.

Hey, I’m Ondřej — a photographer and PhD researcher from the Ore Mountains and Vienna.

My passion for photography began during my university studies, when I discovered the beauty of landscapes and the night sky. Over time, this fascination grew into astrophotography, where patience, precision and a little luck are essential. Finding the right location, waiting for the perfect conditions and being there at exactly the right moment can be challenging — but that’s what makes capturing these fleeting moments so rewarding.

My curiosity doesn’t end behind the camera. I also build and fly my own FPV drones, exploring mountains and remote landscapes from a completely different perspective. Flying fully manually brings a unique sense of freedom, challenge and discovery, allowing me to capture places and movements that would otherwise be impossible to reach.

Whether I’m photographing the night sky, exploring wild landscapes or flying through the mountains, I’m driven by the same desire: to discover new perspectives and share the world as I see it.

Through this portfolio, I offer a selection of fine art prints, image licensing and dynamic FPV footage. And while the Ore Mountains and Vienna are home, there’s always another horizon waiting to be explored.
